The Goddess of Rain
Yes, it rained outside,
And within me, storms brewed strong.
Tears mingled with the downpour,
Camouflaged in the cascade of water.
Thunder shook the earth and my soul,
Yet, I let my heart break and rebuild,
Like clouds that crack and release their weight.
But as in the sky, these storms are rare—
I flood myself, and then I dry.
For I rule my world,
The Goddess of my own reign.
No prince on a horse,
No God upon a throne.
I destroy, and I preserve,
Like the rain that falls and fades.
I lighten the clouds in my mind,
Draining in vain but gaining in peace.
Through the turmoil, I emerge—stronger and serene.
One night, fleeting, sleepless,
The rain poured for days,
Yet now, a new dawn peeks through the caged grill,
Dusky skies with cotton candy clouds.
No sun in sight,
But hope remains in the hidden rays.
Like mice trying to cheat in cheese,
It might drizzle now,
Maybe a downpour later—
But all I care for now,
Is to write, to breathe in this moment.
For after the rains, hope blooms,
Even when the skies seem dark.
It’s raining again,
The battle between wind and land,
Thunder roars like a war drum,
And the sky is under siege.
Yet, I find joy in the storm,
For not all darkness signals loss.
The rain speaks of triumph,
Of rebirth after a worthy battle.
I welcome the storm,
For it ignites my spirit
And cleanses the clouds in my mind.
And when my journey ends,
When I stand before heaven’s gate,
I’ll tell the guards—
I came from the Earth below,
A soul forged in resilience and grace.
I did no wrong,
I stood tall with pride,
Hurt none in ego, cheated none in greed.
I prayed, I loved, I apologized.
In my heart, I know,
I lived pure and true.
Oh, mighty Father, I plead,
Let me rest in peace.
For the world betrayed my trust,
But I survived, I endured.
When I’m gone,
Some will cry with genuine tears,
Others with falsehood,
But they will all remember me.
They’ll speak my name—
Some with warmth, some with disdain.
But my deeds were clean,
And my death will be a carnival of memories.
I owe them nothing,
But I’ll leave behind a legacy,
A soul that weathered the storms
And found peace in the rain.
In a world where time unfolds its tales,
A girl emerged; her spirit set to sail.
Beneath the canvas of an azure sky,
She bore the weight of a world awry.
In the alleys of adversity, she walked,
Each step a testament, each setback talked.
Yet, she danced through the storm, wanting more.
For every obstacle that sought to bind,
In her heart, resilience she'd find.
She whispered to the wind; her vision stirred—
Amidst thorns, she plucked courage, a flower profound.
In the storm’s cruel spree, she stood like an oak,
Raindrops as setbacks, but roots entwined in hope.
She learned to waltz, embracing each chance,
Finding strength in chaos, her triumphant dance.
A journey rich with metaphor, her spirit soared high—
She became the author of her destiny,
A girl who ruled her reign,
The Goddess of Rain.
Through the tempest and strife,
She forged her life anew.
A masterpiece in setbacks, a story to guide,
Her legacy—resilience that forever resides.
