The sky smells very blue today.

They say that I can find my mother if I can cross the border.

But they say that they will never let me cross the border because I don't have a name or an address.

But I have an address.

I live near that big garbage landfill where every night the food trucks come with what they call food-waste.

I do have a name.

They always call me Chotu whenever they need extra hands to carry those sacks or heavy bricks to that big building they are making.

They said that they are building a school there. It will be a very big school; I think. It will be a very beautiful school; I try to think.

They asked me why don't I  go to school?!

I want to go to school; but I have not found my mother yet. I have seen that people always come to school holding their mother's hand. I have seen that they leave the school holding their mother's hand. I think that I have to find my mother first so that I can go to school.

They say that it is impossible to cross that border security.

I have seen those pricky things poking out of border fences. I have heard that border fence wall has current in them.

But I also heard those men in that tea stall saying that they can cross that border fence wall through an underground tunnel.

So, here I am; standing under the bluest sky in front of what they said can be an underground tunnel.

I will find my mother today once I cross these border fences. And I will go to school.

I am coming, Mother.

I am going to go to school.

But why these men dressed in patterned uniforms are shouting?!

"I am going to meet my mother today. And I am going to go to school" I try to tell them.

They don't listen to me.

They are trying to tell me to step back or else-

"I am going to meet my mother today. And I am going to go to school." I try to say, again.

They do not listen to-

I feel something has just piecerd through my body. I try to touch it where it has touched me.

One;

Two;

Three;

I don't know more countings to keep up with the count of the places where those things has piecerd through me.

I don't think that my legs have ever learned how to stand up.

I feel the wet soil all around me. But it is not raining.

I try to look at my hands. They look like that roohafza drink that people in big buildings drink.

I think somebody has threw a bucket of water that feels like blood all around me.

I am lying on that wet soil.

I feel the wet soil.

They said that you will know it when you will smell blood.

I think, I know it.

Now.

I feel my eyes closing.

Maybe my mother is calling me. Maybe I am going to go to school.

I look at the sky. It feels like I am looking at it for the last time.

I see a white bird freely flying up in the sky over the border fence wall, from my edge to Mother's; while I am lying on the wet blood bed.

They don't shout at the bird; nothing pierces through him.

I look at the sky.

It smells very blue today, just like the wet soil around me.

I try to tell the white bird, "Tell my mother that I am coming. And I am going to go to school."
