THE INKY REVELATIONS
I am born in a factory crowded,
Looking for my friends silent mouthed.
We are all caged in a packet smooth,
To be sold at a stationery booth.
I find there pencil, eraser and scale,
All living in different boxes for sale.
An old man got me for pennies less,
I saw him carefully,
In his blue dress.
He tried me first on a paper rough,
And took me home as he found me tough.
This is life, where people will use,
Only if they find, you to amuse.
My owner used me for writing poem,
Sitting on his chair at his home.
“Grandpa! Grandpa! Can I take your pen?”
Said his grandson, full of ken.
He took me to his school grand,
Showing me off like a wand.
I tried to run fast on his notebook untidy,
With all my strength and supreme mighty.
He keeps me in his pocket wide,
Sometimes taking me on a nice flight.
In some of his classes bright,
He uses me for a pen fight.
My cap helps him in presentations formal,
To be put on his tie not so normal.
When he sits on his chair green,
He chooses me to rub,
His back not so clean.
In his lunch break short,
He tears his chips packet apart,
Using my tip with a sharp retort.
On his way back home,
He decides to roam.
He met his friends in sunshine,
Thinking that it was a meeting fine.
It soon converted into a fight stubborn,
When he used me to struck his friends clothes worn,
Making all of them completely torn.
He returned me to his grandpa old,
Making his tees cuff fold.
He kept me safely in his case,
To rest after a disturbing race.
I stayed like dead for days four,
Thinking my life was such a bore.
I thought to myself,
And self-introspected thyself.
I have the power of igniting minds,
But using me wrong, shall end up your grind.
I am broken,
When used to give condemned a token.
I have the ability to inspire generations,
I have the power to cause negations.
Until when his granddaughter came,
And asked me for the reason same.
He lended me for one day straight,
Without taking any charges or freight.
She kept me in her box beautiful,
Keeping at a place graceful.
I made new friends with pencil and scale,
They said their life was such a rail.
She takes me out in her lectures long,
Using me while singing a song.
At the time of her test surprise,
She shakes me, to make her mind memorize,
But she remembers only songs reprise.
She uses me as a smartboard pointer,
And gave me to her friend adjoiner.
On the way back, when she is under the Sun,
She ties her hair,
And makes a bun.
Then my owner takes me back,
To keep safely in the rack,
Having me is quite a nice hack.
Day by day all my refills are used,
Said my owner with his face fused.
They are used as straw and to stir,
They help him well without a concur.
I wonder someday,
I will be thrown away.
But I shall serve my master,
With submissiveness ever after.
Until my last breath,
With loyalty until death.
Such is my life,
Teaching you to work and thrive.
My size is small, with height so tall,
To serve my owner, I give my all.
No task too basic, no too small,
I stand by him in every rise and fall.
