Theme: What flood had left behind

Name: Under the scales

Author : Ajmalath

Warmth touched my scales
For it was under waves
Until the sun saves

All that my eyes found was unsung
For I had slumbered for so long
My cold blood warms all along

I see nothing but shades of unrest all around
Things that floated me round and round
Found places against me around

Rays of sunshine tingled in my scales once again
A man cub opens the slit to regain
His house that had fallen with pain

Met with the horror in his eye
For I am nothing but, I
No wonder for the wondrous fly

A heart that's slpit
For the nature had taken all that he built
Nothing was in my three chambered heart but guilt

A smack did I hear, that never touched me any near
All out of nothing but fear

Slithered did I do
Hissed and I coo
To a place where I made a 'whoo'

Tears that flood
Tears of nature that left the man's eye flood,
All that did raise a pool of blood

I could see them cry
For food and clothes that are dry
Thinking nothing buy those who die

Being a snake,
All i could do was nothing but shake,
Seeing all the crumbled mud cake

With all the corps,
No where was the crops
All that was there were tear drops

So I hissed again with sorrow
Couldn't do anything but swallow all the pain into some other burrow
