I can't take this anymore.

Please stop, I can’t take this anymore.
I want you so bad, it cuts me to the core.
Nights stretch so long, an endless sea,
Since you drifted into my life all I feel is lonely.
I was better off without you,
Yet now, with you, this feels painfully true.

I feel alive when you whisper my name,
When you smile, it ignites a flame.
I feel alive when you pull me near,
When your touch chases away all my fear.
You say I’m the only one you see,
The breeze of wind that sets that heart of yours free.

How I wish that you were mine,
Just once, for our worlds to intertwine.
To hold you close, wrapped in my embrace,
To give you all my love, a sacred space.
How I wish you'd speak those words,
The ones that flutter around like caged birds.
I know I’d cry when I hear them from you,
For it’s all I’ve ever wanted is this feeling to bloom.

But don’t treat me like I am a game,
I’m not an object for you to break or tame.
Sometimes I feel like a forgotten toy,
Longed for, played with, then tossed somewhere to destroy.
Tell me now, do you feel the same?
Don’t leave me waiting, burning in this flame.
Don’t tell me it’s pity that you feel for me,
For the only bright light in your dark ordeal.

You confuse me, make me question my vision,
If you want me, or if it’s just my blurred perception.
You come close, then fade into the night,
Leaving me in shadows, craving your daylight.
Don’t let these scars of my core grow,
This has to stop for once,
Because I just can't take this anymore.
