Lucky world - a dream ...
"mammmmmaaa , mamm mammm !! Babba ba ba ba !! ... " squealing out of joy - a 1 year old toddler on seeing a cloud burst in the bright sky of the fall season ; with no idea of how his life was about to fall apart . But 1.5 months old in his own tune not at all caring about the whole chaos around her simply singing own imaginative world and laughing at whoever comes to his sight ! " Mammamamm... brrrrrrr !! " With her cheeks full ; tongue stuck out . Seeing her cheerful face mother controling the turmoil within ; starts laughing with tear at the corner of her eye with the thought - " you are my only reason to live ! " "We are sorry - but your husband is no more ! " Dr. Kirthi - a resident breaking the harsh truth to the wife . Heard from her neighbours that they had been a lovely couple who had eloped and got married 3 years ago . The family had disowned them following marriage ; so they were on their own feet . Buisness had started to take off recently and now he lied their lifeless . Broken from the news - " Arun , we had seen so many dreams together ; now you are leaving me alone with our daughter . It's not fair we have no one other than you here ! " Seeing this scene kirthi was herself broken - herself being an orphan - knowing the worth of a family . " Ammamama , baba baba ! " The child started tapping her father trying to wake him up . " Avni come father is taking rest , say bye we will see him latter . " Controlling her emotions , Keerthi ; surprised to see her strength of not crying in front of her child and saying but crumbling down seeing dr - " I am her only support now ! I can't let down my child this way . Her childhood will be complete she will live her life . Has to . We had dreamt together and now I have to continue this chapter all alone ? Is this fair enough ! Life has taken my everything ! Now how much it has to snatch from me ?! Does avni deserve this ! " Saying this she collapsed on kirthi's shoulder drenched in tears - as if it was for the last time she was gonna break down coz she had a great responsibility ahead of her . Keerthi paralyzed what to say thinking for her " see we don't know what destiny has chosen for us. But what we can do is what is in our hands . You have your rest of your life you have the innocent soul who is enough to brighten some one' s day . I can't compensate your loss . But if you need help you can always come to me ! " Saying this Keerthi hugged the lady . But the child unaware of the storm was simply playing with kirthi's colleagues - still strolling here and there as if she was disconnected from the world . In just a few minutes " Keerthi , another casualty is arriving where it has been informed one of the passenger is run over by the other - let's say hit and run ! " On arrival Keerthi was shocked seeing the half mutilated body of a middle aged woman and her husband coming behind in search of his wife " shobha ? What happened to her ?! " Despite himself drenched in blood and major laceration over his head ! The van which crashed behind them as an impact were their relatives - " baba ! Maaa!!! Will never come back ! " Saying this started crying ! The husband not wanting to believe the news came to a delusion - " no no she is alive !! She can't leave me alone !! I bought her the flowers she asked ! That's not possible ! " Saying this he started" where is she ? " Seeing her in that state he collapsed out of shock . Kirthi and her colleagues were looking after other casualties received . At a state of terror the old man was too shocked to speak anything . Around 3 am the went up to the husband and said " dadaaaaa .. dadaaaaa... Mmm..mmm.." as if trying to say don't cry ! I am here ! " Shobhaaaaaa..!!! Saying this he hugged the child tightly ; As if the tiny soul was way more comforting than anyone else at that point . Kirthi herself being an orphan was in tears seeing this ! On being asked what happened she said . " Sometimes time throws us the truth at our face and we fools are so busy in our lives that we fail to see it! " Overwhelmed by the answer ; her colleague Vishal asked - " means ?! " " In this world I have no one whom I can call they are mine - Rahul you know . But this child doesn't know anyone but yet fearlessly goes to the man and hugs him trying to comfort truly which is needed for him at that moment . " On being asked whether the man wanted to file a case against the person who had done it he replied " it's of no use ! My shoba is gone ! If I place a complaint will she come back ? Will the system change ? Will anything change ? Just leave me at peace . I have lived my 30 yrs of married life with promises now I have to move on with responsibility of fulfilling her promises alone ! " Saying this he saw the stranded flower he bought for his wife in the last moments which she asked willingly . " Never knew it would have been her first and last time ! I don't know anyone other than her . My children despite giving them our everything could never be ours . Isn't it dear ?! " Saying this he teared up and left the place . " Parents must have something for themselves .. " Dr. Vishal " seeing the distressed man - " our parents should start living for themselves now - it's their responsibility to look after the children I agree but what do they get in return ? I don't say they expect something from us ! But don't you think they must have something for themselve . A identity or passion that would help to battle their loneliness if one is not present in the end of their lives . Come on ; they should live their lives after certain age instead of running behind us always ? What do you say Rahul ? " Avni started following the old man on the road . Her mother - " anvi - beta come here doonnnntt... Careful anviiiii !! " Alerted by her scream the old man saved anvi from getting hit by the car. " Bachchaa ! You are fine right ? " Hugging her tightly contended as if he had saved his wife ! " Her mother out of relief started falling on his feet of the old man " Thank you so much for saving my life !! I will forever be indebted to your deed ." But the child never left the old man ! It was like they both were sharing their sorrows with that hug - a sense of satisfaction that the man had saved his shobha from the terrible accident " Truly daughters are our treasure - long live betaa ! " But the child insisted to stay with the old man playing with him and saying her small mischiefs proudly to her new dadaa ( grandpa ) . Kirti that day realised something - an adult will always hesitate to go to someone seeking help if does seldomly but a toddler whoever shows love or without any thought believes anyone and goes to them; Think whatever they do is the best without any second thought ! They enjoy their own company they are fearless do whatever they like not afraid of the public opinion " But what happens when they grow ?" Perplexed by the question Vishal asked " what do you mean ?! " Why does people opinions start mattering as adults ? Why they always think about the future instead of staying at th present like a child ? Is it the child / society at fault ? Seeing all this Rahul asked " what happened kirti ? What is disturbing you ? " Kirti smirked " I always thought why ? Why me ? When I was orphaned . Now my opinions changed . When I was small I remember accepting orphanage as my own family ! I never said they are my family or I should not have wished of my own family ! But still . But now I am happy to have so many friends like you or the small family I have created life long . See that child we would have doubted the man's intentions but the child without any fear talked her heart out with someone whom she didn't know . I even saw her talking out to everyone without seeing their looks or seeing are they so called qualified to talk to us ! That's a pure heart . And will never see such difference. But.. Our neuronal connections grow to an extent that it complicates our adult life ! we doubt each decision made . Each choice of beleiveing some one . Each time thinking no I shouldn't beachse he is not meant to be here ! Oh comeon - we all were made for some purpose hence we are amazingly alive we all have the same organs - the way we use it differs ! I just wish we could have kept the goal of reamining a childish thought forever - to grow as one . Wish could have remained as a child ! " Rahul smirking " see when we were children we always wanted to become something which we don't have that's adult and now when we know going back is not possible we want it . How silly ! See we have that inner child within us it's important that we keep nurturing that for our happiness and not letting that go off hand coz that what makes you alive and chubby - and sorry don't say u are not chubby !? " Kirti herself was stressed out the way she was gaining weight for the past few months - " see you are great the way you are ! Accept it! You are urself which most of us are not ! People judge our looks let them - cause everyone have their own struggle - see that man we saw earlier with great dreams he bought the flowers to give it to his wife but in the end destiny never wanted them to reach her ! Nothing is in our hands paa just be happy we are alive amidst this chaos . Let's support each other neither are you nor me are different we have the sole purpose of uplifting each other not putting or cursing others is gonna be of no use what is in our hands is to let go off whatever we had bad , hold on to the good memories and don't think about the future - let that child's curiosity try new things ;make you wonder how amazing this world is ?! live the present - we live once ! Life - mysterious and beautiful in itself and how it's people are a part of one " the ultimate truth ! " . Kirthi astonished of the philosophical talks from Rahul - ok now get up let's have some tea ! -- remeniscing the talks of her college days 38 yr old Vishal had been saying stories to his son and all of a sudden " avni , what are you doing ?
