Whispers from the Abyss
It's been haunting me in nights,
The morning stars have always lied,
Sights can be deceiving,
The forbidden always felt so right,
I’ve been reaching out to you,
Whispers and my muffled cries,
They say third time’s the charm,
So i’ve spent calculating all my life,
They like painting his tearing eyes,
With vengeance and shame,
And how he shades his face from eyes,
Satisfied by how kindly he was replaced,
Veils of twilight, Echos of the fallen,
Don't leave me tied to celestial chains,
Crowding emptiness, Screaming silences,
Was Lucifer the devil or was he in pain?
Who’s willing to be with the abandoned,
When my creator doesn't seem to care,
Who’s willing to be the voice of outcast,
If we are all sinners, who decides what's fair?
Details don't regard if the base is strong,
Carefully crafted sentences don't help you live long,
And dancing in the dark would mess up your peace,
A soul full of nails and insecurities,
The dawn of herald invites rebellion,
On the skies where the Throne of Venus stays built,
I carried no regret, yet every regret,
But without redemption, regrets remain mere guilt,
And time’s been witnessing this tale for long,
Desires burn verses to mere ashes on ground,
And when the clock strikes 12, I bleed till three,
In the play of survival, my ego was the lead,
Wings of Icarus, Glory of the Heavens,
Don't braid me into vulnerable escapes,
Guiding prophets, Exiled Messengers,
We like straight paths, yet those create a maze
Who’s willing to be with the rebellious,
When my creator has decided what’s fair,
Who’s willing to bring his pleads to light,
I wonder if he ached for a chance, to change for right.
