CROWN OF LIES
My mind lies to me, spirals,
And goes into turbulent trials.
It’s sweet spot is venturing
into pretty elaborated
scenarios, that went viral.
A traitor to it's own master,
Fear, guilt & shame-
Is all that it fosters.
Love, ecstasy & acceptance-
seems to never catch it's attention,
For all it's ever known is subjection.
Swinging from bliss to apathy,
Sometimes floating without gravity.
I'm weary of living in a reality of duality,
To and fro from euphoria to detachment,
Enabler & victim of my own mental harassment.
Constantly reminding me of my limitations & incapacity,
But look at it’s tenacity,
Bestowing me with a crown of lies,
Telling me that my dreams are, what this world,
Defines, as insanity.
