Poem Title - Memories, They are?!



Memories are like the rhythm of songs in our lives,
Songs born from our consciousness, from moments and paths in our lives.
Each melody states different stories of our lives:
Sweet and sour, bitter yet healthy, kind and fulfilling.
Too many to count, so many to be played!

Memories are like colours, a colours palette from darkest shades to lightest tones.
They paint our minds with memories like graffiti on the walls.
Memories are like rainbows in the sky,
A rainbow of more than 7 colours, not all so nice!
They say colours have meaning, so do the memories they holds.

Memories are like water, calm as a lake, hidden like springs,
Raging like a river, and having the depths of the ocean.
Memories are like water, flowing through rivers and seas,
Sweet to salty, just like thoughts of our consciousness.
They flow through many routes, touching and holding so many things,
Some are good some are not.

Memories are like seasons, each with its own colours. Some have one, some have many;
like "Autumn has rainbows of fallen leaves, Winter is snow-white,
Summer has a golden glow, Rain has a gloomy gray with lightest shade of pink sometimes,
And Spring is painted with nature's colourful pallets"!

"Memories can be the sky, from holding gorgeous glowing dusk and dawn,
To calming, peaceful starry night.
The moon won't be joining us every night,
But we still have stars, twinkling like the distance, bright memories of our lives"!

"Some memories are like the Moon, others are like twinkling distance stars,
Still so beautiful in that awakened night"!

We all have them,
