My mother wasn't at fault
Her daughter lost against time
Who would blame her ?
She waited for her
Actions to be defined
Tried her best to sought
Now had reached to differ

Ofcourse she too , once was a girl
Dreamed and wondered all about her world
Yet now young daughter crumbles
As mom sits at the crook of the sofa
Tucking in her legs and mumbles
Manipulating her little dove
Giving it the fake blanket of ' love '

You must've tried ? Didn't you ?
To make her smile as she did before
And now all she would do
Undermine one's lore

Poor young one
I would hold you close enough
To kiss and bond every scar
For as every bleeding mother
Births a delaram

You see her with a baby
Attentive and alarmed
Trying to fix what she flawed in thou
You cross your heart
Never be like how she is with you

I have a promise to make too
So much to feel as a woman
letter from one to another
